Are you ready to point lace decor for Halloween? I have been creating for a while ago Halloween patterns.
My little girl is Halloween crazy and so every year, we try something fun out. From crazy costumes to accessories and home decor.
This year she will be Wednesdays from the Addams Family…and so we play with collars and hangman’s ropes….But the classic ghost is still a must, so here is a pattern available.
I remember when she picked the color combo…. an exciting time, coz she got to help out. I did a classic design First and then we went wild…
What do you prefer? Truly, I can’t make up my mind…
Also when it comes to Halloween, I like to add leaves, and here is one motive that turned out ok. To make it more interesting, I created a combo of crochet and Romanian Lace.

First of all, I hope you had a fabulous Easter and a great time with your friends and family. We surely did had a great time-celebrating with a few Romanian Style Easter eggs… and some great food.
We have been MIA, lately when it comes to blogging. So let me update you, what we have been up to. I am working on Andradas Birthday dress. So this is where we are atm.

Now that you know about the crochet/RPL project and I sure you ask what else have you been up to!?
Well let me tell you more, since you asked!!!
Busy with the New Moon and Full Moon – purchasing crystals that have vanished form my well loved collection. When I moved form Europe to NZ many many moon ( years….) I had a great collection of crystals and geodes. I am serous, I owned quite some gems. from Large pyrite with Galena, several quartz pieces from the Capetian Mountains and Apuseni Mountains. To make a long story short, it;s gone and I basically have to start from NULL again. I am happy to have found crystal bottles here in AU. Ten years ago all this was basically not popular, here. I am so glad it;s trendy here atm and I can do what I was always doing. And for all my followers who love crystals as well and smudge, manifest, etc….. try to cleanse your crochet hooks after a long crochet/ knit. RPL project… you will not believe how it will give your hook new energy and how great it feels. No pressure if you are not a smudger, like my hubby calls it.
Anyways I am slowly building my collection up and found two amazing stores in AU- if you like to buy crystal or think about to look more into check. It;s hard to start shopping online when you do not know about the crystals or have a trusted seller. With this said, what was my price possession in my crystal collection, was my fav Citrine. Now it’s still on my wishlist.
What else is new? My office is still a hot mess, but I promise it will be done soon! I know you must be rolling your eyes as it takes so long, but it will get done. So my classes can be done. Also a deck is build so all my RPL , crochet, knit and embroidery classes can be conducted on a deck! You will love it- hopefully! It;s all WIP!

When you are looking for a great thread to work with, for a variety of craft possibilities, Valdani might be a solution!
Valdani, is wonderful for Embroidery, Crochet, Knitting, Irish lace and of course Romanian Point Lace.
This company is based in Canada and threads are produced in Romania. Va pup Romania! ( I kiss you Romania) I am always exited to find out that something that has a lot of quality is produced in my home country! Proud moment!
Valdani is great because it has so many threads to offer, in great colours and the quality of each section, being, silk, cotton, wool, etc is amazing.
I will be creating some jewellery pieces using the Valdani, color 12 JP7 and color 8 P8 thread. Both sample thread feel great on the skin and in the hands to work with as well has a great soft shine and the colours are divine.
I was using a vintage crochet hook from JMRA ( 1.5mm) lace making hook to create the Romanian Point Lace cord. The thread was wonderful to work and it was easy to create the RPL cord.
