Roosters, that’s how people in China are called, if they are born in the year of the Rooster. If you are born in January or February you are a Rooster!

I am a woman, a wife, a mother that has a daughter… I have RIGHTS!
I am a daughter, that grew up free, with a strong mind and a strong power, who never needed to fight for her rights… and all this because strong women did this for me many generations ago….
It looks like today in 2017 we as women move backwards and this is not ok…. no man has the right to take away our rights as half or more of this global society…
We make / made You!
Without us, our milk, our time, our love, you would not be here…. You want to bite the hand that feeds you?!

Flowers…. pretty much they are lovely and bring a lot of joy! People wear them in the hair, put them in a vase, ME, I love to illustrate them quite a lot and of course I love to get inspired by them and create Romanian Point Lace elements with it.
DIY….
If you want to learn more about floral lace elements and how to do these type of floral designs, feel free to contact me, or visit the Books & Pattern Store as well as the Workshops Category.
If you are local, come along and book a workshop! Needlework is fun with a cup of fresh tea or coffee and you will dive into an ancient world of lace, designs and hooks and pattern!
The key to creating these beauties, is to have fun with it and relax. You can work with one thread or use two different threads to create the flowers. I used traditional cotton for lace making in ecru and silk in quartz.
If you want to see more, feel free to watch a Video on it ( the brand of thread I used is visible in the video) Subscribe if you like it and give me a Thumbs Up! Thank you!
If you love flowers and would like to create them using the lace ( RPL ) technique, let me know what flower you would like to learn.
Sign up for the newsletter and you will receive a Daffodil flower design ready to use in RPL technique. Also catch up with us on the Facebook Romanian Point Lace Designs Australia and our business page Ink & Lace
This specific design, will be for a new statement necklace, but depending on new design ideas it could end up as a fascinator or other head element.
